Hi! My name is Etia (pronounced “Eh-tee-uh”) and I’m a film/TV composer. Recently, I’ve composed on in-production projects for Sony, Adult Swim, and a handful of indie animated series (like Dream Catchers and Goddamn’s Great Big Adventure). I’ve also recently finished scoring my 150th short film! Here’s my CV and Resume. While always prioritizing the director’s vision, my main goal will always be to support films and series from all musical, visual, and storytelling perspectives.

Though initially from the hot and sunny Orlando, Florida, I moved to the sunnier-yet-suspiciously-cooler Los Angeles in 2023 to study scoring and orchestration at CalArts with Jonathan Miller, Karen Tanaka, and Marc Lowenstein and graduated in 2026. My favorite composers are Michael Giacchino, Yu-Peng Chen, Stephen Sondheim, and Kristen Anderson-Lopez/Robert Lopez.

Whenever I’m not writing music for my animation friends, I’m either watching a non-horror movie, a non-horror television show, or am very scared (because I’m watching a horror movie or horror TV show).
